General FAQs

Please read carefully as our CEU verification system for the Multistate NASW Virtual Conference differs from our usual CEU tracking system for virtual trainings.

To track attendee CEUs, we will be utilizing Zoom analytics and CEU code words for each session to track your participation. To receive your CEUs, you will need to complete the following:

  1. Get the CEU Word for Each Workshop. For each workshop you attend during the conference, there will be a CEU code word provided by a chapter staff person during the session. Please be sure to pay attention and write down the CEU code word for your records.
  2. Complete the Survey. Immediately upon conclusion of the conference, you will receive an e-mail from the NASW Chapters for a conference survey. You will need to key in the CEU code words for each workshop you attended as well as complete the form in full. Be sure to click submit at the end. It is critical that you complete the survey ASAP in order to receive your CEUs. All CEUs will be mailed or e-mailed within 45 days of the conference.

If you do not receive the conference survey after the conference, be sure to check your e-mail’s spam folder. If you still cannot find the conference survey, contact the NASW-Illinois Chapter and request being resent the survey link.

Additional CEU Information

Will conference CEUs qualify for in-person CEUs?
In Illinois, we were able to successfully advocate for a waiver of the in-person CEU requirement by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) for the current licensure cycle ending November 30, 2021. This means that CEUs from this year’s conference will be accepted in Illinois by IDFPR for licensure renewal without the restriction of in-person CEUs.

In Nevada, there are no limits placed in virtual trainings.

In North Dakota, the requirements for continuing education have not changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please keep in mind that all live, real-time webinars count as regular, face-to-face continuing education hours.

CEU Certificates

Participants are responsible for providing current contact information when submitting their conference survey responses. The NASW Chapters are not responsible for CEUs that are not received by conference participants if contact information is not current. CEUs will not be awarded for the Exhibit Hall.
